Born on October 31, 1980, in Regina—the heart of Saskatchewan—I grew up imbued with a passion for the rich local culture and history, notably marked by the Saskatchewan Roughriders' memorable Grey Cup victory in 1989. This early experience instilled in me a lifelong enthusiasm for iconic, local triumphs.
My journey led me to Vancouver after completing an English Literature degree, a city where I ventured into the world of wine, a field that captivated my interest and shaped my future career. Over the next 12 years, I immersed myself in all facets of the wine industry. I earned WSET and Sommelier accreditations, authored over 2000 newsletters, and played a pivotal role in launching Canada's first e-commerce website for wine retailing. My work involved direct sourcing with producers from regions including Oregon, non-Napa California, Spain, and New Zealand, enhancing my expertise through extensive travel to these areas.
In 2014, I relocated to the emerging wine region of the Okanagan Valley, where I co-founded a winery. Serving as General Manager and Sales and Marketing Director, I spent six years guiding the winery to success, fostering growth and recognition in the competitive market.
As the landscape of my career evolved, so did my interests. Driven by a profound appreciation for content creation and a burgeoning interest in the creative process, I pursued Graphic Design at the Toronto Film School. This decision was fueled not only by my creative aspirations but also by challenging experiences with design firms. My frustrations with service inconsistencies and a lack of industry accountability led me to a pivotal realization: I could bridge the gap in the market.
Today, I blend my extensive experience in content management, my deep love for aesthetics—particularly colors and fonts—and my rigorous training in design to offer a comprehensive suite of services that ensures reliability, creativity, and professionalism. My background as both a client and a service provider gives me a unique perspective, enabling me to meet client needs with empathy and precision, ensuring that every project is a mutual success.
