Bardamu Consutling Services - my company my logo adventure
My design company name was inspired by the enigmatic Ferdinand Bardamu, the main character of Louis-Ferdinand Céline's groundbreaking 1932 novel, Journey to the End of the Night. A fusion of the French words "Barda"—the pack shouldered by World War I soldiers—and "mu," the past participle of "mouvoir," which means to move, the name captures the essence of a life in motion.
I originally had a hand drawn backback, but redesigned that to be more in line with the 20s art movements. As I evolve, so does my logo but I will keep with my original colour match up. It's bold, smart and elegant.
